Today we’re going to take a step back from teaching and let you gauge how much you’ve learned. We’ve prepared a simple and fun quiz that you can take in a few minutes. It includes ten questions, all of which revolve around what’s new with Mountain Lion. Are you confident in your knowledge of all things Mac? Think you could sit at the genius bar? Prove it!

    The question about video encoding is not entirely true. The native video encoding is also in Lion (Google it), but it’s been enabled by default in Mountain Lion. It’s very easy to activate in Lion.

      I’m sure anyone who knows enough to enable hidden features in Lion will know where the feature was newly enabled in Mountain Lion :)

    For #2, you can “mute” a bouncing app icon in Lion by hovering over it. I’m not sure if the feature was advertised for Lion, but it’s there.
