    Thanks for the nice tutorial. Another little trick: If you drag the dotted line between app-side and the “doc”-side you can easily change the size of the whole dock. Also i love the option to view folder-content as a list. Since i set it, i open the finder half the time!

    For us widescreen users (which is pretty much everyone these days), I find the best use of my screen real estate is to have the dock on the left side of my screen, that way I don’t lose precious vertical space.

      I’m also all about screen real estate. I find using the Hiding feature pointed out in the screencast as my preferred way to use all of the screen. This will let you use the most screen area and still have quick access to the Dock. I just don’t like having the Dock always showing.
